HISTORY

American Allied Railway Company Incorporated was established in the 1960's as an air brake reconditioning facility. During this time, the Company also entered into an agreement with the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen. Later, American Allied Freight Car Company Incorporated was formed to repair rolling stock, and recondition sideframes, bolsters, and brake beams. During the 1970's, machinery was procured to allow expansion into the wheel and axle repair and reconditioning business.
